Market 535 has always been about creating an experience that supports small businesses and brings people together. With each event, we welcome hundreds of shoppers, families, vendors, and visitors from all over Southeast Texas into our community — and we want the impact of market day to reach beyond the show and throughout our historic downtown area.
That’s why we’re excited to introduce the Market 535 Downtown Collective.
As Market 535 continues to grow, we want that growth to include the businesses that make our downtown special. The Downtown Collective is one way we can invite our neighboring businesses to be part of the momentum, connect with new visitors, and help create an even stronger downtown experience together.
The Downtown Collective was created to connect Market 535 with our neighboring downtown businesses and encourage our visitors to shop our vendors at the show and then discover the local businesses just steps away.
We’re already working with some amazing downtown businesses, and we would love to welcome even more local businesses into the Collective.
We want people walking downtown. We want them stepping into businesses they may not have visited before, discovering something new, shopping small, grabbing a bite, and spending more time in our community.
Downtown Collective businesses will receive recognition through Market 535 social media, with opportunities for additional event-day mentions, special promotions, collaborative giveaways, and other creative ideas that benefit both the business and Market 535.
As part of the Downtown Collective, participating businesses will also help share the excitement of Market 535 through their own social media, storefronts, promotions, and event-day activities — creating a true community effort that benefits everyone downtown.
The Market 535 Downtown Collective is separate from our sponsorships, partnerships, vendor spaces, and paid promotional programs. It’s another way for us to connect with the businesses surrounding our events and strengthen the overall downtown experience.
